Improving Mental & Physical wellbeing in Faith Communities through Sport
Faith, sport, and well-being are interconnected through their influences on physical, mental, and emotional health. Faith can provide spiritual and emotional support, while sports can enhance physical and mental well-being. Moreover, the values and motivations associated with faith can positively impact an individuals approach to sports, contributing to a holistic sense of well-being. Thus, Strive Sports offers a range of services and programs designed to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being while also promoting tolerance, inclusivity, and diversity.
Encouraging and taking recreational football programmes to Faith Institutions & communities across the UK fits with Strive Sports’ Sport and faith vision – developing and improving the standards of Institutions. Faith Institutions should be involved in providing and supporting sporting services such as football programmes that improves their quality and variety of service to the community.
Physical Activity Improves Mental Health
Intra-Faith Sports Dialogue
Sport is a powerful tool that can be used to bring together people from different faiths, backgrounds and places to develop relationships and break down barriers and misconceptions. Intra-faith sports initiatives can bring people together and improve the physical wellbeing of communities

Mental Health Training
There is currently a mental health pandemic that needs addressing. People from South-Asian and Ethnic minority groups have been affected the most and require a response plan to help create awareness and support those in need. Our mental health training supported by national bodies helps train people to become mental health experts and able to sport and tackle signs of bad mental health in communities.

Youth & Children's Programs
Strive Sports has specific programs geared towards promoting the health and well-being of children and youth within faith communities, encouraging them to be physically active and make healthy choices.
