national ECB Inter-Madrassah Cricket Competition 2024 – EMAN CUP
Welcome to the ECB National Inter-Madrassah Cricket Competition!
We are thrilled to announce this exciting opportunity for students aged 8 to 11 from Madrassahs across the UK. This competition aims to foster a love for cricket, promote teamwork and provide a platform for young talents to shine.
The tournament will be held in five different cities: Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, and Nottingham. Madrassahs can choose the most suitable regional tournament to participate in.
– Each region will host a 10-team tournament
– Teams will be divided into two groups of 5.
– Each team will play four matches in its group.
– The winners of the two groups will face off in the final
– The regional champions will proceed to the National Finals Day.
Making Cricket more accessible
Coaching Development
For the Madrassahs that register to take part in the EMAN Cup, the ECB will provide free training to staff and volunteers, equipping them with the necessary coaching skills to nurture young cricketers.
Talent Identification
The EMAN Cup will bring together cricket talent from across the country competing against each other, with the finals being played at Lords Cricket Ground. This is a great platform to showcase your skills and enter the cricket pathway
ECB Cricket Equipment
All Madrassahs who register to be part of the EMAN Cup will receive full Dynamos cricket equipment to play, even after the competition so your institution and community can continue to play cricket
